The Animationsinstitut of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg trains outstanding talent on the highest level in the fields of Animation, Visual Effects, Technical Directing, Animation/Effects Producing and Interactive Media. The institute also has its own Research and Development Department.
We are looking for a part-time (50%) specialist, starting immediately, initially for a limited period of two years
Specialist for Digital Postproduction (m/f/d)

The tasks include

Supervising and advising student projects in the area of color correction and finishing
- Developing, ensuring and documenting quality standards and workflows for film productions
- Interface to the individual departments, e.g. camera, editing and VFX
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience in media production
- Knowledge of current color models and production techniques
- Technical understanding and basic knowledge of hardware and software in the area of film industry production standards
- You work independently and enjoy working with young people
- Organizational talent, ability to work under pressure, versatility and flexibility, ability to work in a team
- Work permit within the European Union
- You have a sense of social responsibility and are open and sensitive to sustainability, diversity and equality

The position advertised is basically divisible. The remuneration is based on the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L).
