The Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg GmbH is looking for a:
Coordinator Artificial Intelligence (m/f/d)
as of April 1, 2025 or as soon as possible
Full-time (39.5 hours/week), limited to 2 years.
The Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg GmbH (FABW) is one of the most renowned
educational institutions for film and media in Germany and also enjoys an excellent
international reputation. This is ensured by a strong team- and practice-oriented teaching
concept and over 300 guest lecturers per year. The Filmakademie also includes the
Animationsinstitut and the Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris.
The AI coordinator (m/f/d) is the central point of contact for the entire FABW on all topics
related to artificial intelligence. He/she should act as a central advisor, multiplier and
mediator for AI topics.
He/she should stay up to date with established, new and emerging toolsets as well as
the latest trends in AI and be able to contextualize them in terms of their impact on
media production, evaluate them in terms of ethical and legal standards, and integrate
them accordingly into the FABW's production pipelines.
Their responsibilities
Consulting and strategic development of teaching and organization
Central point of contact for students, teachers and staff for all AI topics
Collaboration with research projects of the R&D Department and our Animationsinstitut especially in the area of fair and sustainable AI use
Building and maintaining networks with regional and international AI partners
Support in selecting, implementing and prioritizing AI projectsOrganization of AI-relevant training
Your profile
You have a degree in media or science or several years of professional experience
related to AI
You have very good communication and team skills as well as very good written
and spoken English skills
Experience in project and stakeholder management
You are enthusiastic about working in a vibrant, creative environment
You have extensive IT know-how, particularly with regard to the functioning and
technologies of AI
Knowledge of conventional and modern video pipelines and production methods
is an advantage
You have a sense of social responsibility and are open and sensitive to
sustainability, diversity and equal opportunities
