We are offering a
Pipeline TD-Engineer eXtended Reality (XR) (m/f/d)
position within the research project “Reallabor Metaverse”, starting 01.01.2026 or later in full-time (39,5 hours per week), for a period of two years.
Your tasks
Support in the implementation of tools, workflows and use-cases within the overall context of the “Reallabor Metaverse” project (Digital Humans, Immersive Product Experiences, Interoperability, Digital Building Twins, Real events in Virtual Worlds, Industrial Metaverse Architecture, etc.)
Building pipelines between DDC applications, game engines and open source software
Extension to existing tools
Evaluation of tools, workflows and use-cases
Technical support of exemplary productionsDissemination in scientific publications
Your profile
Intrinsic motivation, interest and deep understanding of technology and its creative potential
Completed studies or several years of professional experience in software development and/or media productions
Extensive knowledge in Omniverse, USD, Python, Blender, and real-time/game technology Unity, Unreal, BlenderExceptional
Inter-personal skills, problem solving and development
Secure handling in digital communication tools and structures such as wiki, email, project management tools, etc.
Organizational talent, resilient, versatile and flexible, ability to work in a teamVery good knowledge of English
Valid work permit within the European Union
